The SKIDM developed by METIS Africa is a multiphasic skid designed for measuring the fluids which are extracted from oil wells. These drillings produce water, oil and gas. Currently, it is difficult to measure those 3 components at the same time without separating them.
The SKIDM is the only system able to measure and calculate the flow of water, oil and gas instantly, without phase separation (the method commonly used on platforms where the 3 phases are separated in tank separators in order to quantify each phase individually), and without radioactive source (a method which is much more expensive, binding and which does not work on the smallest flows that represent 80% of existing applications).
The SKIDM from METIS Africa is available in 1 line configuration, or multiline in parallel. It is equipped with the latest mass flowmeter from YOKOGAWA, the Coriolis ROTAMASS TI, and with the video recorder incorporating the Atex touch screen.
